The Million Dollar Shot
By HB
The Million Dollar Shot by Dan Gutman is a exciting and fun book for people who like basketball and for middle school students.
The suspense is great it makes you keep on reading.
As soon as I released the ball I opened my eyes. … The ball was losing speed now. All anybody could do was watch and wait.
It is about a boy named Eddie. He does not know that much about
basketball he is on a team but he never scores. He enters a million
dollar contest from Finkle Foods. The contest is to shoot a free throw
at the Game one of the NBA Finals and if he makes the shot then he gets a
million dollars!
He
keeps on practicing and gets better and better but he is never sure
shot. A lot of suspense is about not only winning a million bucks but
losing a job too.
I
thought that it was very interesting when it was lending up to the shot
at the Game 1 of the NBA Finals. It felt like I was there and cheering
Eddie on. I was getting a lot of feeling. I thought he was not going to
get better and better.
The
message of this book was that you can do anything that you want it
shows it when he is practicing. I thought a lot of people would like it.
I would rate this book 10 out of 10 stars. I really want a sequel to
come out. People that like basketball and enjoy reading.
Wow sounds like a great book! I don't usually like sports books but this one sounds great!
